Scouts Program
Scouts is the third level of Scouting for youth ages 11-14. Our program focuses on leadership development, outdoor skills, and personal growth through challenging adventures and meaningful service.

What We Do
Scouts participate in challenging activities that build character and leadership skills:
- Extended camping trips and expeditions
- Advanced outdoor skills training
- Leadership development opportunities
- Community service and citizenship projects
- Adventure challenges and competitions
- Working towards the Chief Scout's Award
- International Scouting opportunities
Program Structure
Scouts meet in groups called "Troops" and are organized into smaller groups called "Patrols." Each Patrol is led by a Patrol Leader, providing significant leadership opportunities for youth members.
Badges and Awards
Scouts can earn various badges and awards as they progress through the program, including:
- Personal Achievement Badges
- Activity Badges
- Special recognition for leadership and service
- Chief Scout's Award (highest Scout award)
- Queen's Venturer Award
Getting Involved
To join the Scouts program, contact your local Scout Group. Most groups welcome new members throughout the year and will help you get started on your Scouting journey.
